"And he (Jesus) spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; (Luke 18:1). In 1 Thessalonians 5:17 we read; "Pray without ceasing". Men ought always to pray because prayer is where our most intimate needs are met as we seek the face of our Lord God, and it is where we begin our eternal journey into enjoying His continual loving presence. As a young Christian I had no where near the understanding of the depth of prayer for which I now have some thirty two years later. |
